The book club has chosen Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi as its first book selection of the 2014-15 school year, a novel in which "seventeen-year-old Juliette, ostracized or incarcerated her whole life, is freed on the condition that she use her horrific abilities in support of The Reestablishment, a post-apocalyptic dictatorship, but Adam, the only person ever to show her affection, offers hope of a better future."
Copies of Shatter Me are available in the library for book club members who have paid their dues. Students may stop by to pick a copy and vote for club officers!
